Michael McMahon
Michael earned a Bachelors Degree in Environmental Design from the school of Engineering at the State University of New York at Buffalo. He also earned a Masters Degree in Environmental Planning from the College of Architecture at Arizona State University. While attending ASU, Mr. McMahon worked for three prominent landscape companies, each providing unique and specialized services including: golf course irrigation, native tree salvage, and commercial/high end residential landscape.


Eric Mahler-Controller
Eric is an experienced Controller with a solid record of success in accounting, finance and business management. He is a self-starter with strong experience in financial systems management, team leadership, profitability improvement, accounting systems development, banking/cash management, receivables/payables management, operations/staff development, business plans, budgeting and forecasting. Eric is a Father of 3 grown and married children, Grandfather of 4, and is actively involved in their lives.

Helen Weston-Payroll/Receptionist
Helen Weston has been with AGAVE since 2006, fulfilling many roles including receptionist, payroll and office manager. She had a 31 year career with Qwest prior to AGAVE. She has studied computer science, human resources and business management through the years while maintaining full time employment. Helen has two grown sons, one in Colorado and one here in Arizona. She enjoys camping, cross stitch and baking.

Marleni Carnas- Accounts Payable
Marleni has been a part of the Agave team since October 2013 when she started as the receptionist. She began to take on Office Management duties until she landed managing Accounts Payable. In that time she was also commissioned as a Notary Public. In her spare time she loves to spend time with her family and recently began the new adventure of motherhood.


Ernie Uranga- Chief Estimator

Ernie is an Estimator for Agave’s Construction Division.  His main focus is on acquiring new projects to bid and install. He has lived in Arizona since age 1, and has been in the Landscape industry since 1996. His family has been involved in Commercial Landscaping in Arizona and California since the early 1960’s.  Ernie has coordinated many large projects with Agave as a Project Manager, and has acquired a substantial quantity of bids as an Estimator. He has installed large public projects under his own company. He holds an Arizona K21 Contractors License as well as an Arizona Real Estate License.  



Tony Acosta- Director of Client Relations

Tony stared in the landscape industry 30 years ago when his parents started a landscape company in New Jersey. In 2004, he moved to Arizona where he had to learn landscaping all over again. “The plant palette, irrigation requirements and systems are completely different than back east.” In 2009, Tony joined the Arizona Landscape Contractors Association (ALCA) Board where he eventually served as President. He served for 8 years before stepping down to focus on Agave and personal growth. He served as a chaplain for 15 years in Motorcycle and Car racing and in his free time loves to read, enjoy sports and drive his jeep “Silver".

Jason Bloom- Accounts Manager

Jason 20 years of experience in the landscape and turf maintenance industry. He began his career in the industry in Iowa with a residential/commercial landscape contractor. He has held positions such Athletic Field Supervisor and Assistant Golf Superintendent and has earned his degree in Urban Horticulture with an emphasis in Turf Management and holds many ALCA and Department of Agriculture certifications. Jason has been a manager in the HOA/Commercial Landscape industry for the last 10 years. His goal is to exceed the expectations of the communities I serve. In his free time, Jason enjoys sports, off roading in his jeep and spending time with his wife Ann and dog Chauncey.
